Quincy McKnight was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. As a foster child growing up, then being adopted into a wonderful Christian family, he learned the values of hard work and self-reliance. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and had a career in financial services before starting his own successful payment processing company.
As CEO at Covenant Pay Partners, a privately‐held, global Merchant Processing company in the Financial Services industry, Quincy is responsible for growing a multi-million dollar payments portfolio organization. He led the successful buyout of his former company QPay and transitioned the company to a 100% employee‐owned company. He is now spearheading major strategic account shifts for transforming their corporate clients from a functional focus to an enabler of innovation for the business and integrating the payments so that it supports a truly global company. Previously, Quincy has led business development efforts for various payments organizations with a career payments combined portfolio of a $1.5 billion U.S.‐based multi‐channel business.
In the past two decades, Quincy has served on several boards within Middle Tennessee, as well as a candidate for the Tennessee State Senate, along with recently being a nominee for the Nashville Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs of 2020. Currently, he is a board member of C12, which is the country's largest network of Christian CEOs and executives. Outside of business, he is an active and loving father and a supporter of foster kid organizations, in which he is passionate about. In his spare time, he enjoys discussing politics and spending time with loved ones.
