My name is Quincy Bareebe, and I am running for Congress in Maryland District 5.

Her Personal Journey

Quincy is not just another politician.

Her life story is a symbol of hard work and dedication. She is a candidate whose journey to public service is inspiring and has become the true meaning of the American Dream.

A longtime Marylander, she paid her way through college by washing dishes in restaurants. She attended classes during the day, and worked at night, because she understood the importance of a solid education.

Once she earned her Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and Finance, she began her professional career as a residential counselor working with Special Needs individuals at the Charles River Center.

With time, she set her sights higher and secured a position at KPMG; a multinational professional development corporation, and one of the Big Four global accounting organizations.  Here she refined her corporate skills as a financial analyst, and later became an expert in auditing, financial markets, and economic strategies.

Her journey didn’t end there.

With a deep sense of patriotism, she answered the call to serve her country by accepting a position with the Department of Defense (DoD).  Her experience there sharpened her skills in financial security, where she was entrusted with some of the most confidential, and sensitive information that our nation holds dear. She helped protect our national interests with the same passion and diligence she exhibited in her earlier roles, and she still currently holds Top Secret Clearance.

Quincy’s ability to adapt and excel in various fields sets her apart from her peers.

She is not just a career professional; she's also a dedicated business owner.

She is the Founder and CEO of a successful Healthcare Company in Odenton Md.  Currently, she employs a full-time staff of 70 healthcare professionals who provide care to senior citizens, outpatient clients, and citizens with disabilities throughout the State of Maryland. She truly believes in caring for her community and has made access to quality healthcare the foundation of her campaign.

Quincy was also able to run, and win, an elected position on the Maryland Democratic Central Committee representing District 32.

Shortly thereafter, she was appointed to a position on the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, where she promoted Anne Arundel County as the premier location for business in Maryland. She, and the board, play a vital role in enhancing commercial districts, improving county infrastructure, increasing agriculture-based business, and promoting high-value business sectors such as technology and national security.

In her board capacity, Quincy approved the direct provision of low-interest, long-term loans, to small businesses that hire from, and are located in, Anne Arundel County.

Quincy is also a devoted wife and mother.

This role is a testament to her ability to balance multiple professional responsibilities, while maintaining a strong sense of family values and community.
