Maryland's 5th congressional district comprises all of Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert counties, as well as portions of Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties.

This Campaign is for the People
A lot of Marylanders are finding it hard to make ends meet.
Even in some of the solidly middle-class areas of this district, people are falling behind on their mortgages, defaulting on car loans and credit card debt, and finding it impossible to manage their student loan payments on top of everything else in their budget.
No single person is to blame for this, but I think most people will agree with me when I say something has to change.
It’s time for change.
My entire life has been about hard work and service. I know it was important to work hard and give back to others. I put myself through college while working multiple jobs and paying for my sister’s tuition, because I believed that much in the American dream, and in what America has to offer.
After graduation, I was able to land an opportunity with the Department of Defense. Not too long after that, I started my business, Royal Home Care and Staffing, where we work and serve many people with special needs and disabilities.
I know our district’s struggles.
I know what it’s like to struggle to make ends meet. I know what it’s like to have to choose between buying groceries and paying the light bill. I know what it’s like to work multiple jobs just to pay the rent.
We won’t begin to fix the challenges we face right here in the Fifth District, until we elect people to office who are strong enough to speak truth to power.
